Cigarettes could be bought in a vending machine located anywhere.
Gas was 80 cents a gallon
There was no internet
The internet companies charged by minutes, not a flat fee.
Cell phones were the size of bricks and weighed just as much.
Milk was delivered to the doorstep (in all fairness I lived in the United Kingdom as a kid and this is where this happened).
Pan American Airlines was the king of the sky
Jonathan Taylor Thomas had a career
You could walk your loved ones to the gates at the airport
Payphones
Phonebooths (with the actual enclosed glass cage)

That's a good one, son! BTW, redfalcon, we actually had milk delivered to our house up to 1992!
When I was little, we used to yell at the delivery guy "Milkman, give us a ride". And he would say, "hop in, kids"! Imagine that happening today!

River Raid on Atari. Still my favorite game of all time.
When sex wasn't EVERYWHERE you look, and they had good clean FAMILY shows like Home Improvement. Shows like that took the prime time slots.

I remember when Atari came out with the game Pong and me and my sister would spend hours playing.
My first motorcycle,The great QA 50 made by Honda.
I remember spending every possible hour everyday outside in the neighbors yard playing sports and just running around the neighborhood with friends trying to find a reason to be outside and not sit in the house.
How times have changed!
