That thread is more about Android apps than the EVO though

I love my evo, the epic to me just seems big to me with the keyboard. I really didn't think i'd like the non keyboard phone but I love it.

What's wrong with big? Can't handle the size, huh?

Well, being as I work at a Sprint store, I probably will be able to help the most.
EVO pros
Bigger screen (4.3 inches)
thinner
HTC software is better (this is certainly only an opinion, but an opinion shared by many)
Has android 2.2 already
Kickstand
Better camera (8 megapixel) & front camera too! (1.3 MP)
2 color options
feels better built
EVO cons
Screen not as bright and vibrant as the SuperAMOLED on the Epic
No keyboard (preference?)
Battery life blows
No Swype
"Only" 8GB memory card
Epic Pros
Awesome SuperAMOLED screen
Has Swype keyboard pre-installed
Has physical keyboard
Cool "Media Hub" app which right now comes with a free $50 credit towards movie purchases/rentals
Comes with a 16GB memory card
Gorilla Glass on front prevents screen shattering
Epic cons
The build is a little more "plasticy" than the EVO so it feels cheaper
The software looks likes a Fisher-Price rip-off of the iPhone interface. Too cartoony for me.
Standard Android buttons (home, menu, back, search) buttons are only visible when back-lit, which is annoying.
No 2.2 yet
Battery life sucks on this too
Smaller screen
Overall, people who choose the Epic normally choose it because it has a keyboard. BUT, I have had plenty of people either come back and exchange it, or say they wish they exchanged it because after they had it they realized they never use the physical keyboard. To be honest though, I don't think you could go wrong with either phone, but there are a few things that bug me about the Epic that makes me prefer the EVO, and the user interface is one of them. It just looks stupid in my opinion and the EVO looks much more polished and professional both in terms of software and hardware.

Since I stayed at a holiday inn last night I can probably help out the most, Only Kidding. Money44cards is on the money when it comes to his pros and cons. I have both phones in the family. I use the EVO and my son and daughter use the Epics. My son is the most knowledgeable about these things and is his pros and cons for the two phones is about the exact same as money44. He went with the epic because of the key board. Because of my old eyes I like the evo screen size. Also, the evo to me just feels like a better made phone.
