No, really? The NFL favors the great QBs? Wow, I would have never known that. Who the hell do they think Goodell is going to favor? He mentioned Palmer in the article, on the one hand we have a QB who hasn't won a thing in the NFL or two of the greatest QBs to ever play the game. Of course they are going to protect their stars. It's a fucking business, after all. I'm not saying it's fair or right, but it's pretty common sense.

Yeah, of course they do. I also think a lot of the media portrayal of it stems from these guys being on the primetime games so often. A lot of "protection" happens of QBs at 1pm every Sunday in Oakland, Houston, Seattle, etc (yeah I know all 3 of those teams play at 4pm lol) but we never hear about it because the games these guys play dont usually matter so they arent reviewed and scrutinized by ESPN Sunday/Monday night and they arent being played in front of the national television audience.

So obviously I agree.

I agree to a point. Carson Palmer got hit in the knee, nothing said. Tom Brady last season almost gets hit and the knee and turns around and yells at the ref, and they throw a flag......Come on, you know they favor the highest paid position in the NFL. But to only some QB's, not all. Brady is one they definitely favor.
