his shot was blocked, he went lefty. Be careful watching this, your jaw might hit the desk.

he finished with 18, UCF won 57-54. Donnie Jones off to a 6-0 start, UCF AD Keith Tribble is a Gator grad, 3 year starter on Oline. Kudos to them.

I was watching the game when he did that. Incredible shot. Definitely shades of pops there.

I didnt think it was all that either. Great play, but not even the best of the day. It wouldve been something had Macklin knocked the ball out of his hand and into the left, but MJ had control the whole time and just went to the left instead of right, imo.

Ive seen high school kids do that.
Does he not have any ups or did he just not jump hard? MJ wouldve done that above the rim floating in air.

Yeah I don't get what the big deal about that play is either. What a great win for UCF though!

http://espn.go.com/blog/collegebasketballnation/post/_/id/19149/marcus-jordan-budding-star
Still, for one night, Marcus Jordan showed the bloodlines in fine form, and believe it or not, he's creating a real buzz around Central Florida basketball. True story! UCF upset Florida 57-54 in the Florida Citrus Sports Shootout at the Amway Center Wednesday night, and the fans are taking to their newfound star in a way you might not expect from a building program like UCF. From the Orlando Sentinel: http://www.orlandosentinel.com/sports/college/knights/os-ucf-florida-basketball-sidebar-12020101201,0,6283040.story
You're not going to get anyone within the UCF basketball program to come right out and say this is Marcus Jordan's basketball team. But Wednesday night at the Amway Center, it sure felt like it.
The crowd swayed as Jordan swayed. They fell to the floor, groaning each time Jordan did. And when he scored, the roar was louder than it was for any other player. Marcus Jordan has arrived at UCF.
Jordan even had a singular Jordanesque moment, one that made "SportsCenter" and -- yes -- looked all too similar to his father's famous double-clutch move against the Lakers in the 1991 Finals. Marcus caught the ball at the top of the key, crossed two defenders, leapt, felt Vernon Macklin behind him, switched the ball to his left hand in mid-air and finished the layup in grand style. There are a handful of college basketball players that could have finished that play. Apparently, Marcus Jordan is one of them.

Just a thought. But maybe he wears the glasses because he can't keep contacts in his eyes?
And seriously who cares what a player wears? Does it hurt you in any way?

Its a desperate attempt by the media to make Jordan's sons into great players which they are NOT.

Lol...I was expecting to see something amazing...not so much. Nice play, that's about it. A lefty making a left-handed layup is not gonna make my jaw hit the desk.

I personally never understood all the hype there is for AIR Jordan's move to which this is referenced. However he DID jump like 15 feet in the air, but besides that, nothing impressive.

Just as I suspected and told a friend earlier in the evening it would, ESPN started its 12 am SportsCenter show last night with a replay of No. 23's famous "change in direction" layup. Not only is that play by his son not anywhere close to resembling what MJ did to the Lakers in '91, Marcus possibly made himself look even more retarded than his Kurt Rambis goggles already do by even performing it.
Then again, I'm a Reggie Miller fan. Game 7, mother....
