LCC may have found a small chink in the armor of the Ursuline defense, but can Coldwater score 36 and hold Ursuline to a similar total? If you can't stop their "O", you probably won't outscore them. Defense is the key, and if anybody will have a disciplined defense it will be Coldwater. Coldwater will be the sentimental favorites, but I see a score similar to last year. A great season for both teams for different reasons; Coldwater for all of the adversity that they faced and putting it all together when it counted, and Ursuline for being disciplined and dominating when everybody said they would be (not an easy task for high school kids). Ursuline will be the huge favorite, but my heart goes with Coldwater.

Rematch of last year's final. Coldwater did stop the Mooney University in 05 and 07 but as much as I would like to seem them do it to Ursuline U. I don't see them as strong as those teams, so reluctantly go with Ursuline :(

The Cavaliers lost to Delphos St. Johns 14-0. Does anybody know enough about DSJ to compare them to Ursuline talent-wise?

What do the Ursuline Irish and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish have in common? (jeopardy theme).

Nothing....Ursuline has had better recruiting classes as of late.

Coldwater has a lot of tradition, and has had the tendancy to knock off the favorite quite a few times. I know Ursuline has Tons of talent, but I can't go against my gut. They will not only be playing for a championship, but they have been playing the entire year to honor Coach Reed, and I see them getting revenge from last year's game.

Go Cavs!

#EpicFail.

Your attempts at humor fall just awful each and every time man. For your own sake, I would recommend you rest up until next season where you can embarrass yourself each week with your stupid assaults on Ursuline and all Catholic Schools.

I expect a close one next week. LCC exploited the Ursuline defense and I am sure CW will look to do the same as well. Will CW stop Ursuline's O, I doubt it. Look for another shoot-out like the previous two meetings.

45-31 Ursuline

Must be similar teams ... not that it means much but calpreps says St Johns would beat Ursuline ....

St. John's (Delphos, OH) 28, Ursuline (Youngstown, OH) 26

Can Coldwater do the impossible again. Those Mooney teams were pretty tough.

I've been on the Coldwater bandwagon since they beat U of M w/ that amazing 4th quarter comeback in '07. I still think that was the best hs game I've ever seen or ever will. Glad I decided to go on a whim. Been following the Cavs ever since. Even made the trip to see them in the title game again last year.

Don't know if I'll be able to make the trip this year but I will be pulling for the Cavs.

Go Coldwater!!!!!!
