wasn't trying to be negative about him , just don't want to see him hurt it worse. Did not know the full extent of injury. I am happy he gets to play. It would have been a terrible shame if he could not play at all his senior year.OQB;920718 wrote:rep!

Does anyone who played high school and/or college football NOT have some old "football injury" that bothers them from time to time? Would they trade that for the experience of suiting up with their classmates and representing their school and town?
Now thats Red Rider Tradition. Matt Davis is going with the mindset that the team and that jersey is more than his immediate future and I cant respect a kid enough for the courage he has. Seeing that kid on the field Friday along with Masons broken hand and Drews ankle made me feel that everything will work itself out. I personally have been hard on this team but these kids are putting this town on their shoulders and that is an amazing thing to see. Week after week these boys go out there banged up, battered, and bruised but give it 110% and that I admire. That West Holmes win was the best win of the year as we handled some adversity and some criticism and came out on top. I also want to say Kyle Lichti has taken a beating from some fans but he was awesome Friday. Keep doing what you are guys and I look forward to an awesome ride late into the postseason. One thing we can all agree on here is our passion for Orrville football and I cant wait until Friday night

Sure was...and I wasn't in attendance. Putting on the uniform does not transform you into someone or something to be worshipped and glorified as some of you seem to do!
What I said was simply this, that Lexington was not the tough opponent some of you would have them to be. If you feel that's an insult, you have that right. You don't seem to have an argument with those that agreed that Lexington isn't that good.
