Both teams have been to the title game...and both have fallen short.

Trotwood was in one of the first D2 titles, and lost to Benedictine.
Maple Heights lost in their only appearance last year to Winton Woods.

Just like in the D1 game, it's cool that in this game some school is getting their first football State Championship.

Good Luck Maple Heights, has something to do with their Coach.

Does anyone have info on strengths, weaknesses, star player to watch and kicking game info for both teams?

I generally know this info for Maple Heights, but thought it would still be good for others.

Congrats to Maple Heights. I knew they were the state champs when they beat us in the 2nd round. That team was ridiculous.

Big Red guy coaching Maple Hts ..Glad to see them win ,,,,, 4,000 yep they dont ever get the count right it seems...although alot of people do get in for free if you think about it ...the bands the workers the security thats another 500 right there

I noticed that 7 or 8 Maple Heights players had their faces blacked out and names were reported as N/A in the Finals program.

Does anyone know why?
