Today on the CBS Pre-Game show before the Pats/Lions game they will be doing a story on the 4 people that were blessed to receive organs from the former Bengals WR Chris Henry. I still miss SLIM on the field he was going to be a star in the future. I'm definitely looking forward to watching this... R.I.P. Slim

Yeah I definitely want to see this. My son was an organ donor and I always wonder who received his organs.

Won't be watching, because I don't especially like the guy. But, why doesn't everyone donate their organs when they die? It isn't like you will be using them anymore.

Anyone else sick of hearing about Chris Henry? He died, yes it sucks, time to move on.

I have no problem with what Sleeper said. This guy was no saint!! Yes his organs were donated and that is a beautiful thing but this guy again was no saint!!

It was more about the choice his mom made to do that for those people in need. What he did in his life before has nothing to do with that story. Im not sticking up for what he did in life but what a great story for his mom to give that gift.

Wonder who he donated his guns to?

Again, he donated nothing...his mom made the decision to donate his organs and within hours of his death 2 lungs, a liver, a pancreas and both kidneys were used to help save 4 different people....pretty good stuff. James Brown couldn't control his emotions and Boomer had to talk for him after the tribute. Everyone can be a hardass if they want...this thread is beyond legit and the tribute was awesome.

Chris Henry was a THUG! He was CONSTANTLY in trouble, and not just with the NFL - but the law, as well.

That may well be, but this thread is about the gift of life his mother gave to 4 seperate individuals by donating his organs.
It's a great story. It has nothing to do with his life and how he lived it.

Chris Henry himself had absolutely nothing to do with these donations except for having the ability to fall out of a moving truck. Kudos to his Mom but the Bengals & NFL are really grasping at straws to turn him into anything more than what he was.
