Morehead State and Kenneth Faried is giving the Buckeyes all they want. The Buckeyes lead 30-24 at the half, but Lauderdale has 3 fouls and Sullinger has 2 fouls. Faried is a probale 1st round draft choice and is a relentless rebounder in the mold of Dennis Rodman.

Faried is an animal. You see the block he had on Lighty on the fast break? He had to duck his head to the left so he didn't smash his teeth on the rim. Foul trouble is hurting OSU but Morehead is also playing well. What's wrong with Buford?

Why is Buford not showing up in the box score I looked up on cnnsi? Is he out for this game? Anyone know the scoop? Sully scoreless in first half. The team took Florida to the wire last nite. I had a feeling it might not be a cakewalk as some may have thought.

I asked that too cbf, I started watching on ESPN3 about the 12 minute mark when I realized it was on. He hasn't played and I haven't heard the announcers mention him at all. I'm sure they addressed it before I tuned in though. Sullinger picked up his second foul the first possession I saw on an offensive foul where he also scored the basket, which was wiped out. He exited the game and didn't return.

Yeah that foul on Sully was bs, im watchin online as well. College bball needs the circle like in the NBA. Im sick of seeing big men slide under someone driving to the hoop and be almost directly under the basket and get charge calls

Moorehead St is a tough mid-major. They only lost to Florida by 5 or 6 in Gainesville.

This was a good win.

I watched it from the 4th row. Morehead isn't bad. I bet OSU must have had 15 turnovers, it seemed - even Craft had several. That Kenneth Faried is one of the best athletes I've ever seen. They had a deep 3 shooter and some other good athletes. Inconsistent officiating seemed to take a couple of players out of their games and on the bench. One more of these type games before facing Florida State on the road next week. Hopefully Buford will be back.

Buford is supposed to play Friday. Matta said if this was a Big Ten game, Buford would have played tonight.

Good to see Diebler step up when they seemed to struggle to score points. His experience is invaluable and it's nice that he can make a play when others seem to be struggling.

Didn't get to see the game, but it sounded ugly. The positive you take is that they held Morehead to 45 points.

How bad did that hurt? lol ;)

40 min from Diebler, Craft and Lighty.

This game will serve them well come Big Ten play. They faced an elite big man, and had to deal with a matchup zone defense that gave them fits a good portion of the night.

Not sure how Buford playing would have affected things, but you have to believe it would have helped OSU to have his experience and his shooting.

In any event, I like that they had this challenge early; it will only help the freshmen to grow up quicker, and make them even tougher when the conference grind starts.

Didn't hurt at all, I've seen what Diebler is capable of before. I have no problem giving credit where credit is due, but I also have no problem passing along criticism.
