MWR is getting quite a reputation for trying to "cheat" it seems.

Seen it with my own eyes right in tech inspection. About 5 yrs ago I was told the same story by Roush's brother when they asked the same supplier about 'custom' windshields. They used to put more of a bubble in the middle, for aero. Didn't fit the template.

Brian Vickers caused about 5 cautions today. Kenseth spun him out once because he was being a douche. Terrible 30th place finish for the #17, after crashing Kyle Busch.

Brake check !

KEY WEST, Fla. (AP) -- A small jet carrying the owner of NASCAR's top team and his wife has crash landed in Key West.

Officials say the Gulfstream 150 aircraft carrying Rick and Linda Hendrick ran off the runway Monday at 7:45 p.m. The Hendricks, a pilot and co-pilot were taken to Lower Keys Medical Center. Two have minor injuries, though it was not clear who.
The other two were taken to the hospital for precautionary reasons.
Authorities say the plane is registered to Jimmie Johnson Racing II Incorporated in Charlotte, N.C. Johnson is the five-time defending NASCAR champion, and drives for Hendrick Motorsports.

edit: Rick Hendrick was diagnosed with a broken rib and a broken clavicle, and Linda Hendrick was treated for minor cuts and bruises.

^ that's a shame. Addiction is an illness.

Richard Petty is at Daytona today for a fantasy racing camp. Nascar will be here the 15th for an EFI test, and playing with ways to break up the love bug drafting. Then on to Homestead. Then the Turkey Run at Daytona, largest street rod show in the Southeast. http://www.turkeyrun.com/Turkey_Run_Home.html

Graham Rahal is a class act

http://www.usatoday.com/sports/motor/indycar/story/2011-11-02/Graham-Rahal-gesture-is-big-gain-for-Dan-Wheldons-family/51047216/1

"We had everybody sending items to the house and it was like, 'Holy smokes, what are we going to do now?' "
NASCAR drivers began donating items within a day, and before the week was over, Rahal had a pledge for a Tour de France jersey from Lance Armstrong, a surfboard from Kelly Slater and interest from celebrities and athletes around the world.

Just seen the news on Mayfield. That's crazy. A damn shame for sure. So much for his "I'm clean" charade.

Mark used to be my favorite driver, I think. Hard to remember that long ago, I believe it was when Richard Petty retired.

Kyle Busch has been parked for the weekend for the bullshit move he pulled on Ron Hornaday last night. What an idiot. He's as talented as anyone but hell never win a Cup championship unless he gets his act together.

Kyle Busch is parked for the remainder of the weekend for the stupid ass shit he pulled last night during the truck race. Coming into the race Hornaday was only 15 points out of 1st in the Championship standings, now hes 48 points back. Kyle should get more than just the weekend for altering the Championship race.

Awesome. One of these days that little punk is going to get what he really deserves. Its ironic that McDowell is replacing him. There is a devil/angel contrast if you ever saw one.

A few weeks ago at South Boston, Va. there was a huge fight after Lee Pulliam (poor loser) wrecked Phillip Morris after the race, then backed up and hit him head on. Took 7 cop cars to break it all up.

I'll be tuning into Speed tv tonight for the World Finals at Charlotte. My brother is there.

I LOVE DIRT RACING. Richards lost a RR tire on the last lap and Eckert wins the season championship. Awesome!! I was rooting for Rick because Josh races for Kyle Busch. That's a $40k tire, hahaha.

3 fantastic features tonight. Mods, Sprints, and LMs

Smoke is on fire! 4 wins in the chase, 3 pts behind Carl. Phoenix is all new, should be fun to watch. I wish I could go to Homestead. 3 day tickets are pretty cheap.

They should fine him cost of the 33 truck at least. Not for the team, for the fine fund.
