So...if a guy is put on his back and bridges to get out of bounds, he is FLEEING? Hmm.

Ok I saw this (in red) happen a few times in the last few tournaments and have not seen any points given , other than the original near fall points ???
So Refman , my question is , if kid A has kid B in a near fall situation and kid A has already gained 3 near fall points , but still has kid B on his back , then kid B screams out in ( Pain :rolleyes Does kid A get an additional point? Also what if he has only gained 2 nearfall points when the pain sets in ?

I think it means if the bottom kid does the "inch worm" from the middle of the mat, out of bounds ... it's fleeing. A normal bridge would not be considered fleeing. This is a non-ref explanation.

If the bottom kid screams out....and the referee has to stop the match for ANY reason, (time expiring is a reason) yes he would get 4 points.

me1...once near fall has been earned...the bottom kid can scoot out of bounds all he wants...there cannot be fleeing called, once NF has been earned.

We discussed this in our meeting. The way our intept explained it was, if it can be done in the middle of the mat, it shouldn't be called fleeing.

Ex. A kid bridges and rolls through and they go out of bounds.... It shouldn't be called fleeing even if no counts or a one has been given. This an act where if in the middle of the mat, no points would be awarded if he can do this before a 2 count is reached and isn't penalized for "stalling/penalty chart".
The "inchworm" "technique" is a clear fleeing act.
It's all in how the ref saw the action as to whether a fleeing call should be made. This was the conclusion that the association came to after many scenario's were talked about.

I think this situation is pretty clear cut most of the time. Then again there will always be a situation or two where it can go either way.

But if a kid inchworms his way oob ^^^ but already has the nearfall count then it would not be fleeing according to refman, right?

Yes, Once NF points are earned (2 count) the wrestler can inchworm out.
