Yeah... that's pretty much what I'm thinking. I don't think they'll blow Wayne out of the water, but I think Davidson will have a lead at half time and play the 2nd half just trying to kill clock.

^^^you are probably right. I've been to the last 4 Davidson games including last nights game and they always find a way to win. It's not pretty, but they do. Ball control...they get it done. Woody would be proud of them.

Calpreps also predicted Springfield to win 21-20 and Pickerington Central to win 27-14.

Davidson truly proved to me how good of a team they are this year when they beat Pickerington Central (who IMO was a legitimate top 4 team in the state). Obviously, Wayne has some terrific playmakers on the offensive side of the ball. Hopefully, Davidson will be able to sustain a lot longer drives against Wayne than they did against PC. I just can't imagine Wayne's defense being anywhere near as good as Pickerington Central's D.

If Wayne is down with 2 minutes left and has the ball, Wayne will win. If not, Darby takes it. Their D knows how to shut down very good athletes.
