They got a beautiful stadium to play in, but it's not centrally located (when other stadiums that submitted bids are available) AND Shadyside has already played there.
30 miles for Shadyside, 100 for Mogadore. I undersrand you can't ALWAYS keep stuff centrally located based on sizes, availability of turf, and who put in bids. However, there are stadiums in between that would have worked, particularly New Philly (would have been like 60 for Shadyside, 55 for Mogadore).

I agree New Philly would have been the best location. Thats were they played in 06 I believe. However in 2001 Shadyside got the shaft having to come clear up to Canton to play Mogadore. So I would say this sort of evens it out.
Good luck Tigers! Give me a reason to go to the state championships!

Bummer...we thought about making the trip but we have our Thanksgiving dinner on Friday and that's too far to travel afterwards.
Hoping for a Wildcats win!

I thought the location was perfect. One mile east of my house. Congrats to Mogadore on a fine season.
Shadyside looked really good once the running game got going late in the 2nd quarter.
Godspeed against DSJ you will need it.
