Paranoid or Cautious
Have we become a paranoid society or over cautious assholes ?
Package on the expressway, traffic backed up for hours, H1M1 that did happen, airport scanner and pat-down but people drive over the borders without getting out of their cars…..

The entitlement mentality seems to include the right for the world to be 100% safe. It can never be, of course, so we engage in a bunch of "safety theatre", to borrow a term I believe was coined by FFT.
