Just finished midnight show. Part 1 is well done. Part 2 will be intense. Anyone else dragged out at midnight? I say dragged, but I enjoy the movies. I would prefer a normal time for a movie, but I'm a night owl so it doesn't matter.

What did everyone think of part 1?

I thought it was great. In terms of moving with the book, it was the closest of any of them, but I guess that'll happen when you get 2 parts to make a movie.

I think they could have devoted more time to talking about horcruxes, but that's pretty much it.

It was a make out scene where she and Radcliffe were shirtless (sort of). Obviously you don't see anything of Emma's but it was still a pretty intense makeout session for a Harry Potter film.

This thread needs more pictures of Emma.

I didn't read any of the books but have been following the movies. My wife read the last book for a third time this past week so that she was fresh going into the movie last night. She was upset about the fact that the first death did not matcfh the book whatsoever, also thought some important details were missed. Overall, she was happy with it and thought it left off at the right point.

There was only one detail that I thought was a bit strange that was changed from the book.

I've only went and saw 1 of them in the theatre but the first 1 came out in 01(I was 13) I've enjoyed all of them so far, no point to just stop watching them after seeing the previous ones.
