On Buzz Aldrin's birthday next year Duke plays Kentucky atop the Hubble Space Telescope. And nobody will be required to wear spacesuits.

I agree with OneBuckeye, the winds off of the Jacksonville coast could make this one interesting to watch and even harder to play in. I understand the idea and the really cool support/spirit dynamic it will have with regard to our military, but I'm not sure about basketball on top of a sailboat. (I realize the game isn't actually on a sailboat.) But, as I said, it's really cool that they're at least deciding to try it out, maybe it will work.

Probably won't equate to the highest level of basketball, but what a cool gesture. Would probably make more sense as an Exhibition game, but if two teams are ever going to do it, it would be UNC and Michigan State as neither should be in fear of missing out on the tournament.

The Carrier should make a 1 hour round in a direction along the coast and then back. Allow people to watch from the shore (obviously cant see the action, but seeing the carrier go by would be sweet anyway!

I agree, I can understand when the Globtrotters do this, but weird for a regular season game.
