I talk about the events from last night's episode below (nothing that hasn't already happened)
***** SPOILER ALERT *****
What in the world happened to THE alliance (Brenda, Sash, Naonka, and Chase) last ngiht?!?! Why did they all suddenly flip on Brenda?! Naonka pioneered it. Chase and Sash voted for Brenda (which I never would have thought in a million years). SOMETHING had to have happened off the cameras, because last night's events were completely irrational. How did voting Marty out last week change their alliance dynamics so dramatically? I can't understand it. They only explanation I can come up with is - they panicked. And how dumb was that? Sash had the hidden immunity idol. All he had to do was give it to Brenda... Brenda plays the idol, and Brenda, Chase, and Sash all vote for Naonka since she broke away (or whoever they wanted to vote out) and then they still keep a member of their alliance! Sash was dumb for letting Brenda go because now he has to believe he's the next one out.
I still cannot understand what in the world happened to the "minority alliance" (as Naonka and Brenda like to refer to themselves). Something HAD to have happened off camera.

Nay is psyco that's what happened. And brenda thought she was so awesome she didn't need to scramble to flip the votes and she didn't try hard enough to get sash to give up the idol. WTF was she thinking, this is the worst survivor in awhile I think.
Best part of the night was chase saying he put his game plan in brenda. Wishful thinking on his part.

Jane is a fucking beast!! I have been pulling for her since the show began. Nayonka is a fucking crazy black girl and looks like she is next to go. But the tribe better vote Jane out soon because she is a huge threat.

I doubt anything happened. Look, there were 10 people still left in the game last night. Four people does not make a majority. Yes, Kelly S. would probably do whatever Sash or Brenda told her to, and Fabio seems to do whatever anyone tells him to, so they could have potentially had a majority. But NaOnka realized that she was in a strong alliance, but that she had no real control and wasn't calling the shots. Like she said, at some point you need to make a power move to seize control of the game. She saw an opportunity when Holly began talking about getting Brenda out. She decided to turn on her alliance because she wasn't controlling the game. By flipping she now has control (although from the preview for next weeks episode it looks like she does or says something stupid again that puts her on the outs). She took out probably the best strategic player and one of the physically strongest players left in the game. It was a smart move. Sash could have used his idol and potentially gotten NaOnka out, but she has an idol that she could have played once she saw Sash play his. Using the idol out would have gotten rid of both immunity idols and gotten NaOnka out of the game, but at that point your alliance is now down to three people (with 6 others still in the game not in your alliance) and one of those is Chase who had become buddy-buddy with Jane and who can't keep his mouth shut. When Sash crunched the numbers he realized that getting NaOnka out wasn't in his best interest because he would be in the minority needing to add two more votes to get out who he wanted next week, and his only safety net (the idol) would be gone. Once it was clear that the majority was voting Brenda it was obvious that it was best for him (and Chase to) to go with the group instead of saving her.

This is something I didn't think about; but even then, they didn't have to vote for NaOnka. They could have voted for WHOEVER - basically, anyone that wasn't Brenda.
I'm glad Brenda is gone. She was overly haughty. Good riddance.
I don't like Sash either; particularly because I view him as haughty as well.
NaOnka is nothing but a hood-rat. As much as I can't stand her, I think it would make for entertaining finale if she makes it to the Final 3 and then has to answer Brenda and Sash during the Q&A portion.
I don't know why, but I'm not a big Molly fan either. She does too much "scurrying" for my liking. It's like she's overdosed on caffeine or something out there.
Chase is a moron. I won't root for him.
Dan is pathetic and doesn't deserve to be there. He should have been voted out Week 2.
Jane... eh... she's alright. I gotta give her mad props on the fact that she BEASTS it at almost every challenge. Her problem is she is proving herself to be SUCH A THREAT that others are going to vote her out because of her dominance.
Kelly S proved she's an absolute airhead last night by finally opening her mouth and answering Jeff's question during Tribal Council. It's no wonder they don't show her much - she's a space cadet.
So I guess I'm pulling for Benry, even though he has the dumbest name anyone could ever possibly have. Even NaOnka is a better name than "Benry." Dumb.
This really is a dreadful season

this season is weird. i feel like the people who contribute nothing, kelly and dan, will be left after everyone else nukes out the proposed remaining threats

This season is kind of a dud, but that is also magnified by the fact that we had an all start season last time, so this season, no matter how good, we always going to be a let down. Also, we had two consecutive seasons of the most compelling Survivor ever in Russel, so it's going to take some time to adjust to Survivor post-Russel. If this season didn't follow Heroes v. Villains our opinion of it might be different.

I don't have any problem with the season so far...it is Survivor...anything can happen...I take it for what it is and enjoy it no matter what.
At this point...I don't care who wins as long as it is NOT Dan or Nay....not that I think either of them has any chance. That is the exact reason they are still there...people know they can beat them in the final 3. Can you imagine being the third person with Dan and Nay as the other two....cake walk...you probably wouldn't have to say anything at final tribal.

I agree 110% with this comment. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to see him make it to the final and when they do the whole Q&A portion he gives his answers in some elegant tone and sounds Harvard-educated as if to suddenly reveal the charade he has been playing.
