As someone that watches Fallon every night and doesn't really care for Springsteen I was pretty upset about the show but glad you liked it.

Jimmy Fallon AND Bruce Springsteen? That's a double-dose of terrible.

I still don't get these people who think Fallon is terrible.

Look at it from the other perspective, why is he so great? Or even has his own show? He was mediocre at best on SNL - I would argue he was flat out horrible, but had some good moments. His movies have all sucked and bombed at the box office (Adam Sandler might make crappy movies but at least they made money). Yet he keeps getting these opportunities.
Never understood his appeal at all.

I agree his movies have sucked but he is pretty good at impersonations and his bits are usually pretty good. Like I have said before his monologue is usually nothing more than decent and his music guests usually blow but I think all in all his show is good. He was decent on SNL. I don't think anyone has ever said he was the best or anything.

Well, humor is probably the most subjective genre. I'd rather see John C. Reilly or Danny McBride get the opportunities that Fallon has received - I know they have in a sense but Eastbown & Down and Steve Brule are limited gigs with limited audiences.

Yeah, I agree that he may not have been the best choice to receive his own late night show but I don't think he was a horrible choice. Opinions I suppose.

...I'm probably in the minority but I never understood the fascination with Bruce Springsteen. so I passed on the Fallon show. Come to think of it, I don't remember EVER watching his show.

with guests like the Stones and the Boss the show can't miss.
Pros and Cons was funny with Jimmy singing Santa as Bruce.
