unanimous choice. I guess when you throw a perfect game and a no-hitter in the playoffs it trumps absolutely dominating in the post season and winning a ring. I thought Lincecum would have a shot

Lincecum was actually below average for about a month. That took him out of the running, imo. Even with a normal month for him, he was behind Wainwright and Ubaldo and quite a few more imo.

Just looked, Lincecum finished 11th which is about right. He was not CLOSE to the best pitcher in the NL this season.

postseason has nothing to do with the award, Timmy had an average year.

Im glad Im not the only one. I was shocked he actually thought Lincecum had a shot. Halladay was awesome all year, and threw a perfect game in the regular season!

Can't go wrong with Halladay, he had a great season.

Halladay was the best pitcher in the Majors hands down this year!

I know it has nothing to do with the post-season, and he did have arough stretch during the year, but so did Halladay. Just didn't expect to see him so far down the list

Dont confuse a rough stretch with losing.
His worst stretch of ER was 3-3-4-4-3-3

You do know that the awards are determined before the playoffs start, right?
I realize you said as much in the thread already, but this post is so far off I just had to make sure again.
