Anyone listen to this? Just started to with a friend of mine. Really good stuff. Especially In Flames.

Have you even listened to it? It's pretty good actually. I wouldn't consider myself into this type of music, I'm a country girl, but it's good shit.

yes! There are several good melodic death metal bands. A few I like are: Amon Amarth, Children of Bodom, God Forbid, Devildriver and Dethklok

I listen to various forms of death. "From Afar" by Ensiferum is pretty kickass viking folk death. Kataklysm's pretty far from melodic, but provides kick-ass adrenaline. For more melodic stuff, Insomnium is pretty good. Norther and Kalmah have good stuff, too. "Reinkaos" by Dissection has some catchy songs. "Motherwar" by Dispatched is another good one. If you like In Flames, might as well try Dark Tranquillity, too.

yeah, i like to stop listening to songs before they actually start and basing my opinions of the music on those observations.

I don't care if it was a Beatles song, if it started with a loogie, I'm turning it off. I don't understand why its hard to grasp why something could immediately turn me off. I didn't say "thats terrible" or "whoever listens to this doesn't know real music". I simply said "Not for me". Now could you please kindly tell me why that deserved your snarky remark? Do I HAVE to like it, or am I allowed to say its not for me based on the fact that a sound less than ten seconds into the song makes me kinda gag?

you gag at the sound of someone spitting? lets not forget their covering a brittney spears song trying to be funny, or that alexi laiho tries to hawk a loogie as far as he can when hes on stage. Why even comment on the video if you're not going to listen to more than 5% of it? Seems rather dumb to comment in that situation.

Yep I love this stuff. I really started to get into back in 2007 when I was playing Guitar Hero 3 and played the In Flames song "Take This Life" so I looked them up. Great band.

why are you implying that i am upset? im just telling you that if you're not going to actually watch the video then there is no point in giving your opinion on it. get over it.

I listened until he started singing, and I agree with Mooney44Cards completely. It's not for me.

Eh not a huge fan of the videos posted. Norma Jean is my favorite hardcore band (I am not sure how to classify such things.) I like the type below.
