I went to visit this mobile tribute to the 58,267 names that adorn it and the 26 crosses for the Fairfield County brave men that gave all. I have been to the actual memorial in DC and this traveling version is a very good tribute to those that gave the ultimate sacrifice. The city has closed off Refugee Road in front of the Legion Post and there are flags from 256 all the way to the Post on both sides of the street. It is very well presented and I was moved by it. If you haven't been yet, the last day is November 15th. It is well worth your time.

I have never seen the travelling memorials, but I have seen the main one in DC a few times. In my opinion, it is the best memorial in the nation. Very simple, includes everyone, and really shows you the true cost of war.
