So watching this Maryland/C of C game, the thought of the 10 second rule crept across my mind.

Here's what I think...

I think they should drop it down to 8 seconds, like the NBA. It would speed the game up(maybe that's just the Tar Heel in me lol) and I think it would do away with some of the stall ball tactics...

Thoughts??? Maybe I'm just crazy...

Keep the 10 but make it aligned with the shot clock. No calling timeouts to get it reset. If you call timeout with 9 seconds down, you have 1 second to inbound it and advance it past the center line. This has always driven me crazy.

The fact it resets for a stoppage in play is ludicrous. That is the only change that should be made.

I have to admit this made me chuckle....The Tar Heel four corner offense is one of the reasons I dislike UNC (yeah I hold grudges..lol) To see a Tar Heel complain about stall ball...strikes me ironic. (yes, I know Im old to remember that offense)

I have to admit this made me chuckle....The Tar Heel four corner offense is one of the reasons I dislike UNC (yeah I hold grudges..lol) To see a Tar Heel complain about stall ball...strikes me ironic. (yes, I know Im old to remember that offense)
I know I know lol. I'm just a up tempo style guy.
