Pujols is definitely one of those who wins it based on name. Votto is a better defensive first baseman than Albert.

I don't agree with that completely.
Votto has improved immensly....IMO he and Pujols are about even.
Derrek Lee is the best IMO with Adrian Gonzalez next.....but those aren't the sexy picks.

Albert Pujols is deserving. I'm sure his name helps, but his defense is really good. It often gets overshadowed by his offensive numbers.
