Hello all Brownies, does anyone have any information regarding his contract with the browns? Will he stay long term as the DC? Are we looking to sign him to a big extension?

I ask these because I think the defense can really become one of the best if we keep working with this team under him. I think the young players respond well to him and will only get better. Hopefully they keep him here, because I can just see them fucking this up somehow and letting him get away.

Speaking of letting them get away don't they play the Patriots Sunday?

I like Ryan and his style but let's be honest, he needs some more talent. He has another year left on his contract, I doubt he's impressed enough to be offered a head coaching position personally.

...and Ringz, I'm sure remember the scenario that led to cameraman Bill being let go. He threw gangly ol' Bernie under the bus. Diminishing skills...uh huh, more like he called a play that wasn't sent in that went for a TD...turmoil ensues...c'ya Bill.

Well, according to most people in the NFL, including analysts, coaches, etc, it seems Rob Ryan is seen as the "Next big coaching hire" coming from a coordinator spot.

If he does become a HC which I dont think will happen, I hope he buys a new wardrobe. The guy looks like a bum on the sidelines.

He has a good shot, because of his name first off..and because he is doing pretty damn good with the talent that he has.

What's the Clowns record with this guy at DC? HAHAHAAAAA. The only way this guy gets a HC job is because of his brother and dad. Can we say Wade Philips.

Rob Ryan deserves to be on a cover of a romance novel.

The Browns have played pretty solid on the D side of the ball under Ryan. The Browns lack skill at sooo many positions, yet Ryan has them playing as a unit, and just got done desmantling the Saints. Not bad.

that is what I am trying to say...I am wondering because of this, what the chances are of resigning him to long term DC contract? I love the fact that we have the chance to have one of the better defenses in the league and i think it's solely because of that.
