Dude's turned into quite the entertaining trainwreck. I have to applaud him for somehow keeping his name in the news, considering that he's been a huge fuck-up at everything he's done except actually playing the game.

The only way NYK was ever going to get Lebron James is if they could also get DWADE and CBOSH. It's quite clear the 3 friends were plotted to play with each other, so it wasn't really team specific as much as friend specific.

He needs Bobby Knight back in his life. He clearly doesnt know what reality is without him as a mentor.

wow......seriously has lost a grip on reality. If I'm FIU, I'm seriously second guessing having hired the man.

FIU hired Isiah Thomas simply for the fact that he's Isiah Thomas. They aren't second guessing anything, IMO. Without Thomas, FIU is never heard of nor in the news ever. And, Thomas knows the game. He is probably an instructor at the college level that kids are able to identify with, if only because he's Zeke, an NBA legend they are probably aspiring to be. It's great for Florida International University. Problem is, they're at Florida International University. Hard to become a national success there.

But Isiah needs to get back into broadcasting if he ever wants to work at the NBA level again. Clearly, the executive suite level in which he dreams of achieving once more is something he was unequipped to perform well. Though sometimes rough around the edges and not as smooth as someone like a Doug Collins or Bob Costas, he was an excellent, engaging color analyst while working for NBC in the late '90s. I miss him in that role. Costas, Collins, Thomas and Walton were one hell of a team when they worked together.

^^^if I'm Isaiah Thomas, I'm gonna ask reclegend22 to join my coaching staff when I make my return to the Knicks....

his rambling sense of delirium nearly matches my own.
