Yes... I did read this and they mentioned the Cincinnati Reds and the title in Detroit.... I did not read about any titles in Cinci, or about the Big Red Machine and their titles. I realize the article was from a Detroit Paper, but you gotta mention the skipper of "The Big Red Machine" (kind of like saying.. The Bronx Bombers) or it is not a complete article :) He helped transcend the Reds into "The Big Red Machine"

Never saw Sparky manage but heard stories about "Captain Hook" as my pops called him growing up
