This January I will be moving to Grand Forks, North Dakota...It is right on the border with Minnesota.

Anyone have anything about this place?

i used to frequent the bowman/dickinson area. thats about as far east as i got in that state.

Nope, that is quite a swing in cost of living DC to ND, I expect more NCAA prizes from now on, one for "most improved", or the "so close but yet so far".

Buy sandbags. Red River floods every few years. Used to be a good place right on the river-- burgers, beers, wings-want to say Anderson's, but not sure.
