OSU had a double top secret scrimmage with Baylor, apparently.

But it was so top secret, nobody is saying much more than they played. :)

"Rumor" is Sullinger scored 40 against Baylor in the scrimmage. It was a 60 minute game though.

Sullinger will be OSU's leading scorer this year. He's just too talented offensively and I see the ball working through his hands so he will have plenty of opportunities.

I heard same. Also heard he has been an absolute beast at OSU since last summer. Tempering my enthusiasm until I see it done vs quality teams.

Ohio State over Walsh today by a score of 102-56
Starting Lineup:
Lauderdale
Sullinger
Diebler
Lighty
Buford

Sullinger led the way with 22pts, 10rbs. Lighty added 19, Buford 16pts. Craft and Lauderdale added 12pt each.

Buford did in fact start at the PG position. Although it was noted that the team really seemed to play better offensively with Craft running the show. I believe he had around 8 asst. Matta was subbing freely throughout the game as well. Craft, Thomas were first off the bench. Sibert played as well as Weatherspoon.(not much).

Rofilcopter.

The Hoosiers prevail in OT. Somehow come back in thrilling fashion. Freshman Victor Oladipo nails a 3 and is fouled with 10 seconds to go. Hits the FT, then blocks a lay-up attempt by Ferris St. Ferris St has the ball with 1.4 seconds left and hits the GW shot, but time had expired. In OT, Hoosiers hit their shots and win by 13.

Final:
Indiana: 78
Ferris St.: 65

Illinois gonna start their season 1-0. Beating up on UC-Irvine. Brandon Paul was on fire in the first half, which was good for the Illini because nobody else has been able to make a shot.

Iowa really scored 111??? Sometimes it looked like they struggled to score 40 last year.

Last night's exhibition results:

Michigan State 102, Nebraska-Omaha 72
Indiana 78, Ferris State 65 (OT)
Minnesota 78, Winona State 72

Some close ones there against D-II opponents. Minnesota's struggles surprised me.

Ferris State has a D2 All-American big man. With Pritchard having a cast on his dominant hand, Guy-Marc Michel not cleared to play, and basically no one on the Hoosiers worth a shit in the post, this is no surprise lol.

Kalin Lucas put up 25 and hit 5 3's looksl ike hes back to feeling good after that injury in the tourny. The ex-buckeye commit Adriean Payne pulled down 13 rebounds and freshman Keith Appling had 15(I think losing chris allen and picking up Apppling almost works out better for MSU)

Fran McCaffery is the new coach, he used to coach Siena, he's legit as hell.

A lot of people think Iowa's a sleeper team this year solely because of the coaching (and it helps they have some good talent, moreso than years past).

Big Ten off to another great start, crushing opponents. Probably the best conference again.

Payne was never a commit for OSU. In fact, he rarely included OSU in his list of schools he was considering. So I have no idea where you are getting that he had made a commitment to Ohio State at any time.

FL-Gulf Coast vs Indiana followed by Eastern Michigan vs MSU on Big Ten Network tonight. Wish they were showing Wofford-Minnesota (as I think that's probably tonight's best game) but oh well.

Which games will have the following? IU and MSU are probably the 2 biggest draws for the BTN.

I do agree, although Indiana is capable of losing to anyone, so they could be in a dogfight lol.
