We just got a Keurig Single Cup coffee maker (Keurig Automatic Programmable). Very nice I have not tried all the coffee favors yet but the Tully Kona Extra Bold is very good. I also made a great tea.. just put a tea bag, lemon and sugar in a cup and push the button hot tea in less than a minute.
What type / brand of Single cup maker do you have?
What coffee flavors have you enjoyed?

I have a Keurig as well. I usually would drink the Donut Shop cups, anything Hazelnut. I recently went and bought the filter for a Keurig. It is just an empty cup you fill with your own grounds. I have a bag of Dunkin Donut Hazelnut. Much more cost effective and I am a Dunkin junky and they don't make Keurig cups. Only down side is the cup to brew your own is like $16.
Oh and my girlfriend recently did buy the Hot Chocolate cups they sell at Bed Bath & Beyond, I thought it was a pretty weak chocolate flavor.

My dumb sister accidentally bought some Keurig cups (hot chocolate I believe) when we don't have a Keurig machine. Now they just sit in the kitchen.
I don't have nor do I want a single cup coffee maker as I usually drink several cups when I have coffee. Kona coffee can be delicious. I think I had my best cup of coffee while I was in Hawaii.

We've had one for some time now and it's not too bad. The only issue we've had with ours it that sometimes when brewing it will squirt the water back in the reservoir. From what I've read on line it is an ongoing issue.

Do you do anything special to make the filter work right? I couldn't make a decent cup of coffee with it.mucalum49;542091 wrote:I have a Keurig as well. I know that the directions say to use a tablespoon of grounds but I lowered the amount (a few times... trial and error) to get it so that the coffee maker didn't just spit grounds. I might get a few here and there but nothing that bothers me too much.

Keurig's are great for that simple, quick, great cup of coffee. There are a multitude of flavors to suit anyone's taste. Do yourself a favor, and quit trying to make your own...it negates the convienience of the machine and 'K' cups. Open the lid...pop in the 'K' cup, push the button, and in one minute or less you have a perfectly brewed great cup of coffee. My family has bought 5 of these machines, between my mother, my wife's mother and sister, my grown kids. There are a couple of different kinds of Chocolate beverages....use less water if you find them too weak.

I figured the cost of operation of my Keurig is less than .60 cents per cup vs the Starbuck and McD coffee pricing. Is the coffee as good so far it been better ........... I tried the Donut Shop coffee I like it better as a mid-size cup... the full 7.69 oz cup was weak..

Belly, if you want a stronger coffee...try the Coffee People Organic or Emeril's Big Easy. Diedrich's French Roast and Kenya Kilimajaro are also strong, dark coffees that are good in the 'large size' cup.
