Does anyone know what these are?

My wife said a couple people at work were going on and on about them. Is this a conspiracy theory, something legit, or what?

I can't find any clear cut information about this.

Apparently there is one in the old rock quarry in Lima, and another one at WPAFB as well as other locations in Ohio and across the country.

I'm just trying to figure out what the fuck this/these is/are.

There was some show I saw about them awhile ago, but I haven't the faintest idea what it was called. What it seemed to me was conspiracy theorists looking at areas that already had buildings/structures there trying to say they were for FEMA camps. I'd have to go with non-legit on this one.

Is the conspiracy that the government is secretly putting citizens in camps? For anything specific?

There were a few videos I watched, and there were some things that DID strike me as odd (An old train yard in Indiana was one of them)

I can't believe I'm posting about this show for the second time in 2 days....but watch "Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Venture" on TruTv. This was the episode 2 weeks ago. I have it DVRed and will watch it and let you know what they say.

If they don't exist then why does this say they do and have plans to hold 21 million people

If there was a dot on my mailbox, I'd either take it off or paint over it or something.

It's a bunch of BS. The rumor got started by a bunch a fear mongers. The dots are actually for newspaper carriers. Sunday vs. weekday.

I just didn't know what the whole thing was. By no means do I actually think that there are camps in the U.S. that are going to be used for citizens. Conspiracy theories like this are fun though.

I too am a little wary of this but let's keep in mind that the U.S. did detain Japanese Americans during World War II.

Also, the majority of Europeans (as far as I am aware) did not expect the Holocaust to happen.

My point is that while this matter may not be real, you never know what people (or your government) is capable of which is why it's up to us to make sure they aren't abusing that power.

True however the Japanese attacked us on our own soil. Like the Muslims (not all) however our govt didn't round them up in camps so I don't ever see us making that mistake again. Not that I trust the govt or anything but I don't buy this stuff for one minute!

IF there is ever such an episode where our country is attack (something like nuclear), I do not doubt for a minute that the government has a contingency plan (or several) in place to essentially move whole communities to a safer environment area for their protection. That is probably where martial law will come into play, and people being settled into "camps".
IF that is the purpose of any hypothetical plan.

But, in the meantime, I think some folks got carried away by misinformation or only partial information, and they let their paranoia get carried away. Sort of like the Tuskegee Experiment exaggerations were carried by partial truths, misinformation, etc.
