I think Lee comes back to form and sends it back to San Fran... where Matt Cain is waiting to clean things up. Giants in 6

Ump costs Lincecum his opportunity at a perfect game, and some pitch count, as both ball 3 and ball 4 to Moreland were strikes. Good match-up so far with Lincecum having a slight edge so far in pitch count by about one pitch per inning.

With a base open and two out, Lee missed with a 2-0 cutter right in the middle of the plate, and the result was a 3 run HR for Renteria, a probable series clinching blow.

Lincecum thru 7 with a 3-1 lead an 92 pitches. I think if the Giants don't score in the 8th, Lincecum will come out of the game if Hamilton, due up 4th, comes to the plate in the 8th.

Would Lincecum rather have a 3rd Cy Young next year, or a World Series MVP this year?

Rangers' CEO...
"This series: It is going back to San Francisco," Greenberg told the Ben & Skin Show on ESPN 103.3 FM in Dallas. "There's gonna be a Game 6. There's going to be a Game 7. Let's all hang in there and keep believing."

WS MVP because it means they win....but he wont win the MVP anyway. He is behind (by miles) Pat Burrell

Lincecum gets thru the 8th 1,2,3 and has 101 pitches. So now will they let Lincecum pitch to Hamilton with no one on and go for the complete game, or start the inning clean with Wilson. Or start the 9th with lefty Lopez vs. Hamilton, then bring in Wilson?

Cody Ross says the Giants don't have any "SuperStars". I think they do, but they are all pitchers, no position players! Posey may be one though.

Good pitching, team effort, timely hitting = world champs. Javier Lopez and Freddie Sanchez have to be feeling pretty good about their fortune.

Once again a team that has to fight down to the last day of the regular season, continues the good play right on thru to a World Series win.

True this year, but the Red Sox, Phillies and Yankees clinched a spot early on.

Am I the only one that thinks that Tim Linceum looks like Mitch Kramer (Wiley Wiggins), and Josh Hamilton looks like Benny O' Donnell (Cole Hauser), from the movie "Dazed and Confused"? I almost expected Josh Hamilton to get O'Bannion and Melvin and paddle Linceum with the Soul Pole after the game.

Edgar Renteria....only player in MLB history to have game winning hits in the 7th inning or later in 2 World Series.

He reminds me of Robert Horry. Always seems to be on contending teams and in championships.

He is also 1 of 3 players to be the last batter in the WS. The 1997 walk off and the groundout in 2004.
