Oh yeah, and I've never been much of a sniper. I love going out and getting my kills.

I think my favorite level so far is the Jungle level. I set up so many traps in that level it's not even funny.

I'll use claymores, C4, etc... set it up and hide in some of the greenery out of sight until some unsuspecting dude runs right past.

That is the one map that I truly use the environment as my ally lol.

No. Not even close.

I'm never in one spot for more than 10 seconds. I don't have the patience to sit in one place.

The claymore I usually just set where there is high traffic.

Is it just me or is the disadvantage for a beginner with no good guns way more intense than in previous games? I just got around to buying this game tonight and am getting thoroughly destroyed. I had a 1.36 in MW2 and a 1.51 in WaW. But I'm probably <1.00 right now in Black Ops. Maybe it's because it's 3am and only the huge nerds are on...

dont worry man, once you level up a little bit you'll get the k/d back up. i always have pretty shitty games when I am on the early levels of prestiging.

My KDR is about the same as it was in MW2. Just got the game yesterday.

I've heard/seen it used like that quite a few times. Especially for the Spas in multiple games.

Wish COD would do something similar to what Bungie.net and Halo have. Where you can just go to their website, punch in your gamertag and see all your stats from all types of games without being on xbox, and compare them to friends ect. Also they show your "hotspots" on the map so you can tell if you just like to camp in a certain area lol

i don't see what's so wrong with grenade launchers. i love it and am lethal with it. if not for that my KDR would be much much worse than it is already.

i also dont get whats up with the complaints of campers etc.....if they camp just go and kill them you should know where they are. plus with all the spy planes and such they shouldnt be able to hide as easily...or play nuketown, not many places to camp there. what do you expect people to just run out in the open to get killed??? does that make them a better player? my one dissapointment though is with the prestige....I was hoping not to lose everything this time or at least have some advantage rather than just another class....i might not prestige any more on this game.

Thats exactly whats wrong with it, anybody can pick one up and be lethal with it. Its so easy its almost cheating, similar to Vick in the old madden games lol

Ive only been tubed about 3 total times in like 11 hours of play. Not nearly as bad as it was in MW2, for me at least.

It's just kind of universally accepted that 90% of people who play COD games friggin hate any type of "launcher" weapon. It seems to take a bit less skill (aim in the general direction and hope you kill something) than gunning someone down, but it's in the game so it's not like it's cheating or anything.

I'm 100% sure that if the developers put out a public poll and said "should we remove grenade launchers" the results would be something like 95% yes, 5% no.....Same with the 'juggernaut' perk that was in past COD games.

I agree --- not nearly as bad as MW2 and COD4 --- there was one of those people in every game.

well i think just like every other gun they have their advantages and disadvantages....but yes they are not nearly used as much especially since you cant get more grenades such as in one man army

they are also somewhat nerfed due to the fact that it is the only attachment you can have on your gun. pretty sure if mw2 you could have heartbeat sensor or w/e attached as well
