To vote ….
What the hell …. no proof of citizenship to vote…. There is three-judge of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals that needs to get a wake up call …
This just my opinion but …. If you’re not a citizen you can’t vote ..If you’re a felon you can’t vote …If you’re dishonor discharged you can’t vote …If you’re on welfare for 10 years you can’t vote…. If you’re a sex offender you can’t vote…. That should cover about 80% of the Democrat voting population

I wonder if anyone ever checks that. There is no reason for a non citizen to be able to vote. That federal law allows voters to fill out a mail-in voter registration card and swear they are citizens under penalty of perjury, but doesn't require them to show proof as Arizona's law does.

I know you were joking Belly but did you really just say that 80% of the Democrat population is either on Welfare, a felon, or a sex offender.Belly35;534601 wrote:To vote ….

And I don't see why someone who's on Welfare for an extended period of time shouldn't be allowed to vote.
Non-citizens however should obviously not be allowed to vote. You are correct about that.

I understand where everyone is coming from in regards to no "non-citizens voting," but it really isn't that foreign a concept, especially in local elections.
I'm still not for non-citizens voting, but i could possibly be persuaded if it was limited to local elections only, and there were a number of other requirements.
I mean, i feel sorta hypocritical opposing the concept of non-citizens being eligible to vote in local elections when i'm going to be eligible to vote in New Zealand local elections at this time next year, i believe. But, this is another topic, i guess.
But, as it stands now, i am completely for requiring people to show proof of citizenship before voting.

The problem with long time welfare recipients voting is that they will just vote for whoever will give them more.
I think there could be an argument against people that don't own property voting on levy's. I know that this is a slippery slope.
