I'm thinking that bridgeport is the strongest team in the region followed by newark catholic and shadyside. where did fairfield christian come from and is this region that weak that they play a bunch of 1&2 win teams and stillmake the playoffs?

The region was really weak last year. I can not imagine it being weaker this year. Interesting FA's two best wins are against 4-5 teams.

FCA didnt seem all that good 2 me.I think they have just played a very week schedule with acouple of teams winning them game 2 make it in.I think they could lose this week against GCC.
Im also glade 2 see NC back in it.

IMO.... Bridgeport is the team to beat. Followed by NC and Shadyside. Malvern can't be overlooked. I reading that Salineville Sothern may be a contender.

SALINEVILLE SOUTHERN is very big on the line and likes 2 run the ball alot. Im not real sure how good they are , I could be wrong but i think they have only played one team with a winning record and lost.

although i am biased, i do think that newark catholic has played the toughest schedule in the region, even though they haven't beaten the likes of licking valley or heath, its good to be battle tested.

I think the Green Wave have a great chance to make a nice tournament run. The game against Heath got away from them after they failed 4th and 1 attempt and Heath scoring on a big play one play later. They hung with LV for a half, but due to lack of depth got worn down in the 2nd half. Playing against schools with the same numbers will be a plus for them.

Everytime NC makes the playoffs, they give themselves a good chance to win the region by their regular season schedule.I think Bridgeport has a great team when healthy. But I dont think they have a lot of depth. Shadyside is a team you can never count out plus they have lots of experience, depth, and play a pretty tough schedule. I think Strasburg(if they make it) can surprise some teams.

Wow. I hope you are right Bridgeport. GCC has shown signs of being a very good team this year. They defeat themselves too often. If they have problems with jumping offside and center exchanges like they did last week, FCA will have an easy win because they will have a short field too often. They like to run and have the horses to do it.
As far as R23 is concerned, it is deeper and more competetive than it was last year. The region will be at least 6 teams deep. I can't decide if Newark Catholic or Bridgeport is the early favorite, but I won't be too surprised with any of the top 6 seeds coming out of the region.
