Went to the West Jeff. game last night. After a slow start, that contained a couple big mistakes, the Riders continued to pound it up the middle. They knocked off Licking Heights 28 to 14. Licking is a Division 3 school that was ranked in central Ohio. West Jefferson is currently ranked 3rd in central Ohio in Div. 5. West Jeff. should win next week at home against Liberty Union, making an undefeated season. The Riders passed very little the entire game, using their ground game. Good luck West Jefferson; great season so far, and good luck in the playoffs. n8gc

Good luck the rest of the year. It's a shame we, Jonathan Alder, don't play you anymore. It would have been easier and a better game to schedule your team vs Greenfield McClain yesterday which we destroyed 77-7. Hope you guys are state champs in your division this year. Again, good luck.

Yes, I agree. A new league, in the future, would be Jonathan Alder, London, West Jefferson, Mechanicsburg, Grandview, Madison Plaines, Licking Heights, and maybe a couple more. Now, in both football and wrestling, W. Jeff. has little trouble winning over teams in their league, ie: Millersport, Bern Union, etc.. This week, the Jeff. plays Liberty Union at home. That will give the Riders a perfect season, and another playoff birth. In wrestling, West Jefferson schedules Division I schools, such as Davidson, Pickerington North, Reynoldsburg, Westland, Teays Valley, etc.. This prepares them for the state tournament.

That league you suggest is pretty much the old BAC that got split up 6-7 years ago.
