It would take someone about 80-85 possessions to score 100 today if they were absolutely on fire, and a team only has about 95 possessions per game. It's basically impossible for one person to score 100pts in todays NBA, think of it like this, the league average last year was 100.4ppg.

He'd have to shoot 30+ FTs and throw up 50+ shots. It's not happening even in a shootout with Golden State.
