I too think Coldwater wins this.
They to me seem like they are never intimidated by playing a Catholic school who could be a Div higher up than they are.

Coldwater 28-21.

Has Ferguson and Graves graduated? They rushed for 7 TD's & 499 yrds the last time these 2 teams played.

I'll miss the 11am game on Friday, so the first one I'll get to see should be a great one. Coldwater played Giant Slayer against Mooney 2 years ago; It'll be interesting to see how they attempt to get it done in this one. Should be a great game!

The differences in this game compared to the last two times CW played a Youngstown team.....the QB for this Ytown wont be missing due to injury, and there is no Homan at MiLB to patrol the middle of the field and anchor the defense. We got spoiled over the years with the two stellar LB's and you can definantly see the difference in being a bit soft in the middle of the defense. Im very concerned with the explosiveness of tUYU and the lack of defensive prowess the cavs in the middle of the field. I look for Coach H to sell out to stop the run and that opens up the chance for some untimely big pass plays. The CW DB's and secondary are going to have to take care of business on their own on the receivers as to allow the rest of the defense to swarm to stop the run.

Rooting for Coldwater, but I think Ursuline wins by 4 tds or more, just too much talent. Prove me wrong.

voice,

Coldwater will just have to rely on a huge team effort. That would make a W all the more sweeter.

The voice hit it on the head, this game will require the Cavs to do some calculated gambling and hope it pays off.I also think though that the Irish find themselves in a predicament on how to control Wenning and what he can do.I highly doubt they'll blitz after seeing what he can do quickly when it is picked up.In the first match-up with Ursuline,Coldwater was fortunate enough to have Tyler Vogel, who at 6'4" wasn't too hard to find on the quick hitter.Where's those tall guys when you needs them [Big E] ?

Coldwater has had a very nice season and now they face the toughest challenge yet. It would seem that this opponent may just be too good and Coldwater will come up short. Coldwater has something extra to play for this weekend however, and sometimes a team can dig deeper than anyone thought possible. A State Title is enough motivation but Coldwater strikes me as a close knit football family and I think they will step up to the challenge and play their hearts out. It may still not be enough, as Ursuline is a very good team, but we'll see. Good luck coach and team this week.
