I've been to few college games, high school games 2 to 3 a week , only college games are the classics at Wooster college, but Bolyard wasn't in those games I did see, just went for the Scots and not any particular player or Orrville players, but I would be interested in Walsh, undefeated and #1, along with the Buckeyes and the Scots

Between Walsh, COW and Ohio St., you have three of the best teams in the country and three different levels (NAIA, NCAA Div. 3, NCAA Div. 1)

As much as I enjoy the banter between Series and BRF let's get back to basketball. The Ashland game a 5'10" guard must of had 6 or 7 baseline layups against us. Last year Corbett, Hoobler or Miller would've put him against the wall after one. Is that what this team is missing? a little nastiness. They seem to play hard and have some talent but something is missing. Also it looks like the guards refuse to shoot. Fire it up, so what if you miss. Right now the other teams know our guards won't shoot so they barely even defend it. It looks like Pirman and Wasson are the only players that are willing to shoot from 3 pt land but who gets the rebound if they miss? I really don't like those two shooting them would rather have them inside getting rebounds and putbacks. I'm off my soapbox now just hate seeing the team struggle.,.....

Stay on your soap box, Riderfan! I agree with you and that's why I said a few days ago how I appreciate the play of those seniors from last year even more now.

I saw that BRF and I couldn't agree more about that group. Another thing about those guys, they believed in each other, thought they should win every game and were pissed off if they didn't. A good case in point, Triway. Lost by one at the Pit and really took it to them in the District Final game. Am I allowed to say pissed on here

well said....I think a little nastiness would help. Last years seniors (other than Jake) werent the best basketball players, but each played a roll and each didn't mind getting physical.

But that was last years team....you either have that nasty "edge" or you don't. Seems when our guys this year play "nasty" it's because we're frustrated and not playing under control.

I'd be for anyone who could come into the game and shoot without hesitation. Never had to tell Jake to "shoot the ball."

Travelling to CF won't be fun, but that was a beatable team and we just didn't get it done. Then it's Triway on Saturday. Both teams are struggling, but it's still Orrville vs. Triway.

Both very winnable games. Two sure bets this weekend. It will be a physical game in the valley and we are going to see that damn 4 corners offense Sat. I do like Snoddy as a coach though. One of the best around.

We'll still play it even if canceled today. The girls played last night even though they were canceled yesterday.

Make sure the Orrville fans are ready to respond to the "Let's play football" chant tonight. My recommendations..."Final Four"...."Gen-O-Uh"...or something snappy back.

I doubt we'll bring more than a dozen students tonight.

So sick of us falling back on the "Let's play football" crap.

Seems to be the only time our students make noise is when they're being smart-alecks.

I'm sure we'll hear it tomorrow at the Triway game too....just hope we're not getting beat by 20 at the time.
