Huge game for two play-off contending teams.

The Quakers need a win to assure a home playoff game, and the Bulldogs needing a win to even get in.

This game will determine the AAC-White Champion, with Lakeview sweeping it if they win and a three-way tie likely occurring in the event of Salem winning.

Huge game. If Mooney and Ursuline didnt play this week it would be the game of the week. This will be a great game. I have lakeview winning this one 34-27

Salem 31-21. And hopefully Reilly Stadium's field doesn't look like Lakeview's after that game last year. What a mess with all that rain.

I will chime in here since i ahve seen both teams this year .Granted that the salem games was early. But I think that the bulldogs use of jet sweep and the passing game will hurt the quakers. lakeview can be succesful unless the quakers have improved thier outside game. Lakeview is an offensive machine. the quakers willhave to outscore them. Im taking the over what ever it may be

This has the potential to be a great game. We will have to play good football for 48 minutes, no doubt about it. We may be 7-1, but we have yet to play a 'complete game'. When we are clicking offensively we are very hard to defend, and when we decide to get physical on defense we can shut down a lot of teams ........ but it is going to take both this Friday night in order to win.

In a game like this I sure like having QB Trent Toothman on our team; he is just too good and I look for him to have a big night in front of the home crowd.

Go Quakers !!!

It's gonna be a "Pink" crowd too. 500 Quaker Crazies for the Cure shirts were sold for the game.

Looks like the weather may cooperate; should be a great crowd for what could be a great game.

Let's make sure we are ready to play all 48 minutes, Salem ........ and jump on them early!!!

Go Quakers !!!!!!!!

Or if we're are only going to play for one half, let's get it to about 20-0 in the first quarter again. And not tied 7-7 at halftime.

Salem by 3 or less. Should come down to the wire just like last year.

Wow, too many mental errors by Salem tonight. Gotta give credit to the Lakeview defense, they knew how to stop Salem when they had to, but Salem literally gave away the game. Salem's defense played well enough to win, but had a couple of penalties that kept Lakeview drives alive and led to two touchdowns. A few bad snaps by Salem really hurt as did some drive killing penalties. The offense showed that they could move the ball, but you can't make self inflicted mistakes against a team the caliber of Lakeview. Well, hopefully a win against EL will sneak Salem into the playoffs, but it looks like a date with Big Red or Marlington if they make it. Yikes! Good luck to the Bulldogs in the playoffs.

Agreed. The Quakers had more yards and more first downs, but killed themselves in the red zone with bad snaps, penalties and other mistakes. You simply cannot play that way in week 9, especially against a well-coached team. Very difficult way to lose; I would rather be blown out by a better team any day.
