This goes along with my recent thread about crap sold on tv.

ATTN: Snuggie people:

Seriously? You've never heard of a sweater

Seriously? A blanket is actually that big of a problem?

Seriously? You made a "Varsity snuggie?"

Seriously? You think those are appropriate items to wear at a sporting event (or anywhere else in public, for that matter)?

Seriously? You made one for a dog?

Seriously? You think a great marketing idea will be to make a song about snuggies?

Seriously? You wrote that song to the tune of the Macarena?

Seriously? Someone is actually buying this shit?

Seriously?

SERIOUSLY?

I love during the commercials when the people at the football game in the Snuggies are all excited and cheering while the people in coats are sitting there shivering. Cracks me up every time!

I bought a leopard print snuggie and gave it away as a door prize.

One more example of how we are making our kids big pussies. When I was a kid our blankets didn't have sleeves and we survived.

Every time I see that stupid Snuggie commercial I want to change the channel, but I'm usually under a blanket and don't want my arms to get cold.

You could change the channel if you only had a Snuggie. ;) Must admit, I bought one (as a joke) for my daughter's boyfriend last year for Christmas. It didn't work as he's still her boyfriend.

We have a Slanket (and have given a few as gifts) and I must admit they are pretty sweet. Much heavier and softer than Snuggies. I don't really use the sleeves but I will tuck my footsies into the little pocket at the end.

If I ever needed one of these I would turn the heat up in my house.

It's my home and if I can't be comfortable there I don't know what the heck I'm working for.

I hear ya. But on the other hand my woman and I have vastly different feelings on what comfortable is. She likes it 90 I like it 70 someone is always going to be unhappy.

I can see how that would be a problem.

Maybe 80 is the way to go! ;)

The temp doesn't really matter to me...I just always have to sleep with a blanket. Same for laying around watching tv or a movie. I am not comfortable without one.

not my cup of tea...but the wife likes them at football games. Much better than a blanket...You can wear them from the front or the back depending on where the wind is coming from and hands come thru the sleeves so you can reach easily for food or coffee.

SERIOUSLY, if you don't like them don't buy one....pretty simple.

So, a snuggie is basically a bath robe that you wear backwards?
