The Reynoldsburg Raiders travel the short distance to take on Groveport Madison at Cruiser Stadium. The Raiders, currently 3-4, could just as easily be 4-3, (maybe even 5-2, but that might be asking too much). The lost a nail-biter to a tough and sizely Pickerington North squad and lost by 11 to a gritty Grove City bunch. They do have some heavy hitters on the team to compliment some speed. More than anything though, I’m sure they’d love nothing more than to upset the Cruisers on their home turf.

As for the Cruisers, they are coming off a lop-sided loss to one of the area’s best in Pickerington Central. Worse than handing the Cruisers their second loss, could be that the Tigers managed to take out the starting quarterback in the 2nd quarter and he did not return. Only time will tell if he’s able to return to action this week. Without a passing game, the options might be limited, but running the ball isn’t necessarily a weakness for the Cruisers. Two very able backs, and possibly a third, will hope to shoulder the load as they try to keep their playoff hopes alive.

This Friday night, at Cruiser Stadium, in an OCC-Ohio battle, the Raiders of Reynoldsburg High take on the Cruisers of Groveport Madison. As always, 7:30pm start time.

Well, GC has played both, and without a doubt, Groveport is better than Reynoldsburg, by far. The Cruisers are best with their ground attack. The fewer passes the better. My guess is Groveport by three touchdowns; with or without the starting quarterback. Go Cruisers!! And, Go Dawgs over Gahanna!! n8gc

Me either. My boy was confused as to why we haven't gone to a game for our school district. Poor kid. And when he asks with those sad eyes.

I think the ESPN anchor combo of Scott Van Pelt and John Anderson is the best combo going right now.

I also think Jonny Lang is awesome! Even his new stuff.

Lancaster loses to Pickerington North... something like 40-something to 20-something.

Also, Watkins came up short against Mt. Vernon. 28-21 final.

I agree with some of that.

Fitch won, everyone can read about it on a thread that I started........I think I named it Massillon Perry at Austintown Fitch. Pretty good stuff.

Don't know where you got the info but North beat Lancaster 28-21. Also Troy got beat by Trotwood-Madison which also helps the Cruisers.

Troy will not make the playoffs at 8-2.
