Very very big game this upcoming week. Dalton needs to get a win to try to secure a playoff spot. Norwayne needs to win to keep league hopes and a home playoff game alive. Dogs looked much better this week. Thoughts on this big game?

i think it will be about the start this week. Dalton has shown (other than tuslaw) that they do not come from behind with any consistency. Dalton actually came out firing against rittman and it showed in a soild victory. They are also healthier than they were for the northwestern loss. I think Dalton is the more talented team here. They must slow down thepower running game of norwayne and they will win.

If we can play ball control and score like we did last week I like our chances. Our D still needs to be able to force more turnovers this week but I like that we are not turning over that much. The Dogs should go with a 5 man line this week.

I have to agree with you dhs.......50 D would be a good to slow down that running attack.......we have the players to make that work..
I still think Lint should get more touches, especially out of the backfield on swing passes or screens.
Hopefully our boys will be jacked up and ready to play like they are capable.

Use the 50 front, and come after them with two linebackers. have Blevins Spy Wallace all night, and play one on one with the Wr's. Make them throw to beat you, and control the clock on offense. Play calling for Dalton will be huge in this game, figure out what works early on and stick to it, mix things up a bit and make the bobcats have to think alot instead of just playing.

Dalton will have to come out swinging this week. Norwayne has built up some momentum. Last week we looked good, this week we have to look better. It can be done, it will not be done easily.

Lots of computer points on the line, with both teams needing a win to stay in the playoff race. Norwayne probably needs a win against Dalton or Hillsdale to have a shot at a home game. plus the teams below Norwayne now all seem to have alot of points left to gain by winning out. Dalton needs a win to assure a playoff spot, a loss puts them on the bubble to stay in the top 8 with 2 very low points left in weeks 9 & 10.

That freshman class has a lot of talent. I coach 4 of those Norwayne boys on a travel baseball team. I do know their starting QB, is out with an injury, I believe he broke his colar bone.

Dalton definitely needs to win this one as Waynedale and Chippewa only give them 13 points in the last 2 weeks and they need alot of help. A loss drops them to 7th next week behind Hopewell Loudon and in the Monroeville/St Paul winner drops them to 8th and Mcdonald could knock them out by winning their last 3. but 1 of those is against #2 Western Reserve so the could hang in at 8th with a loss tomorrow and travel to Mogadore or Wynford in week 11. So for Dalton it's win and you are in possibly as high as #5 and with help higher to #4.
