Teams listed on PC website for this dual tournament.

Pickerington Central
Logan
Marietta
Marion Harding
St Edwards
St Xavier
Lakota West
Brookhaven
Marysville

What teams should battle for the title?
Lakota West and Marysville should be a good dual if it happens. Assuming St. Ed will send a "B" team since they have a quad scheduled at home. Even that team will certainly be competitive!

What key early season match ups would you like to see team and individual?

Marysville and Lakota West should battle for title. If they do Bass(Mrysv)vs Bradberry(Lak) and Marsh(Mrysv) vs Pursiker(Lak) should be good ones if they happen.

Are both Tatum boys wrestling for Pick Cent? What weight is Hunter wrestling this year?

Well the Tatums are missing out on a good coach. Good for Hunter. He is a hard worker, and will have a great season.

Yes Brookhaven had a rough time, but the program will be better for it in the long run. Glad to see City League wrestling outside of the City.

Was the St.Eds 'B' team an entire line-up of non-varsity wrestlers? Or did it have some guys that will for sure be in the sectional tournament?

hizzmuther, I agree with you about Brookhaven. It would be nice to see more of city league schools outside of 270. Then they would have some idea of the competition they will be facing at the sectionals, districts and the state tournament.

Without actually knowing who was out there, I can guess by who was at the quad held on the same day at St. Edward that the vast majority of the kids in this event will not be in sectional tournament. Belford the 215 might be, he was in the sectional lineup last year. A couple other guys might, but it would be by an injury to the person in front of them. The 152 lber Abounder is a jr high state champ and 103 and 112 are jr high placers Bright and Scheidel, runner up and third place respectively. I'm speculating kind in mind as I don't actually know who was out there. Thats why I was asking for some individual results. Jordan Palmer (145) and Matt Tusick(152) have an outside chance, Tusick was the starter last year at sectionals. Both of those wrestlers are seniors though and may be competing with the "White" team, this was the "Green" team which is normally researved for underclassmen.

I agree about the city schools competing aoutside of the city. Marion Franklin wrestled at the ashland bookmasters tourney this weekend. It was nice. We also wrestled against some St. Edward back-ups. How many kids does St. Eds Wrestle every weekend?
