DOLA — Trevor Schroeder is one of the top running backs in the Blanchard Valley Conference and he lived up to his billing Friday night against Hardin Northern.
The Leipsic standout ran for 123 yards and a touchdown as the Vikings blasted the Polar Bears 61-0 to extend their win streak to five games.
The Vikings (6-1, 5-1 BVC) churned out 494 yards while holding HN to 87 yards of offense.
Four touchdowns from Derek Mangas, including one on a 73-yard punt return right before halftime, gave the Vikings a 41-0 lead over the Polar Bears (0-7, 0-6).
Mangas has now returned three punts for TDs this season. He also took a fumble back 25 yards for a TD in the second quarter as the Vikings went in front 21-0.
Logan Price was 6 of 16 passing for the Polar Bears. He completed three passes to Reed Poling for 39 yards.
Liam Nadler was 9 of 13 passing for 187 yards and threw for three TDs to help fuel the Vikings’ offense.
