Former Fremont Ross football great Charles Woodson donated $2,000,000.00 to Mott Childrens Hospital at the University of Michigan.

Only way this donation could have been better is if he went to Ohio State. Very generous donation though.

there's some folks in Fremont, OH who probably wish it came their way but a generous gift regardless.sonofsam wrote: Only way this donation could have been better is if he went to Ohio State. Very generous donation though.

Anyone in Fremont who complains about this deserves to be exported out of Fremont. His donation was for a good cause. He hasn't lived in town for many years and he has EVERY right to choose where his money goes. Plus, he has given recently to this community in different ways.

No one in Fremont is complaining. Charles has been generous to Ross athletics as well. While it is true he hasn't lived in Fremont in some time he still has family there and hasn't forgotten where he got his start.

Although he went to UM and killed OSU, I've liked him ever since he was a Raider. He's a good ball player and good guy.

They had a story about that before the game yesterday.
He has a new feeling for kids since he became a father. He especially has a soft spot for those kids who don't have the opportunity to get out and play like he did and his kid(s).

Good for him, it's nice to see people give back to their community. Woodson is fun to watch and glad he's doing so well in Green Bay.
