The team said their school is about more than athletics and cited the size of its opponent as their reason to forfeit. They were afraid of getting hurt.

Wow. I'm glad the service academies don't do this when they go up against MUCH larger teams week in and week out.

Football is about strategy and finding ways to use your strengths to outwit your opponents, not a sport to teach your kids, "if you don't think you can, don't."

I thought this thread was about Steubenville players getting a glimpse of Massillons' guys coming out of the showers.

Frigging New England. In our state the private schools get first pickings and usually tower over publics. How do the powers that be let New England Patriots win as much as they do . Just leave them the Red Sox and hockey ,oh and Celtics but NOT FOOTBALL!

Reminds me of some OVAC teams not wanting to schedule CERTAIN OVAC teams because of the smack downs they'll receive...

Is it me or does their AD/Coach sound like a 13 year old girl...
Athletic success is so secondary in a place like this.'
Yeah, I'd like to send my kid to that school! When the competition appears to be to tough, quit!
