Jim Caldwell proves once again (in only 20 career games) how bad of a coach he is.

Side note: Indy always gets beat by insanely long field goals by the Jags and the Titans.

I guess Caldwell should have blocked it, eh?

I thought his 14-0 start last year wasn't all that shabby...especially after losing Freeney, Gonzo and others.

He called a timeout when they had 3rd and goal from the 1 yard line. There was a minute and 7 seconds left. That TD they scored to tie the game should have left about 15 second on the clock, not over a minute.

I have watched every single game he has ever coached for the Colts. He doesnt do shit. Peyton runs the offense and runs the practices. Dungy actually coached the team and made a lot of calls etc, Caldwell does not. 14-0 start was a product of what he inherited, not so much the work of coaching.

However, my worst coach in the league comment was a bit excessive. But he is not a good coach, imo.

I didn't have the volume on at the end of the game. I didn't realize he called a TO. Dumb. I was also surprised Peyton didn't call a run on first down to get the clock moving and see what they could pick up.

I actually was driving in Fort Wayne during the game (had to leave Indy at halftime). The Colts announcer said Caldwell called the TO with over a minute left, but the dumb one that the Colts called (which Lamey said on radio the Jags called) was after Jacksonville ran for an 8 yard gain with about 35 second left. Jacksonville was playing for OT, and the TO let them run another play when they werent even in hurry up.

Yep, which I believe resulted in a long pass play, setting Jax up for the GW...

It was a TERRIBLE coaching decision to (for some reason) call that time out.
