OTTAWA — Ottawa-Glandorf’s season continued to slide Friday as Elida hammered the Titans 37-7 in a Western Buckeye League game. The loss was the second in a row for O-G since the Titans upended No. 2 Kenton two weeks ago.
Elida (4-2 overall, 3-2 WBL) rolled up 458 yards of total offense, keyed by Colin Blymyer’s 144 yards rushing with two touchdowns and Reggie McAdams’ 266 passing yards with three scores.
Tristan Parker rushed 20 times for 110 yards for Ottawa-Glandorf (4-2, 3-2), which entered the game ranked No. 9 in the Associated Press Division IV poll.
Elida got first half touchdowns from Kevin Kraft (11-yard reception), Austin Etzler (56-yard reception) and Blymyer (4-yard run) in building a 21-0 lead. The Titans closed the gap with an 11-yard pass from Caleb Siefker to Matt Peck but 21-7 was as close as O-G got.
Siefker was 6 of 14 for 108 yards for Ottawa-Glandorf with a touchdown and an interception. The Titans were 1 of 9 on third-down conversions.
