BLOOMDALE — Otsego built a 17-14 lead at halftime and did not falter in the second half in knocking off Elmwood 37-20 in a Suburban Lakes League football game Friday night.
Jack Waldock completed 7 of 19 passes for 94 yards and ran 21 times for 46 yards while accounting for all three touchdowns by the Royals (3-3, 1-1 SLL). Jay Hannah had four receptions for 65 yards.
Waldock hooked up with Hannah on a 22-yard score in the second quarter and ran 4 and 2 yards for touchdowns.
Job Jay scored on rushes of 1, 4 and 3 yards for Otsego (1-5, 1-2), which snapped a 24-game losing streak. David Fleetwood broke loose on scores of 70 and 3 yards. Jonah Harter kicked a 30-yard field goal.
Joy recorded 41 carries for 189 yards and Fleetwood had four rushes for 126 yards.
