Huge computer points on the line as the Colts travel to Follis Field for a match-up with the Generals. IMO...Wooster must win this game to have a legit shot at a playoff spot. Dougherty, who left the Madison game at halftime, needs to be heathly and on his game if Wooster hopes to have a shot. McCune is one heck of a back that will cause the Generals problems all night.

Another big game for Clear Fork to solidify their spot as a host in week 11. Wooster is just trying to get some big wins to make it to week 11. If they lose to Clear Fork, don't count all as a loss, yet. The Generals still have some good points available after week 6. Good luck to both teams!

Haven't heard anything further on Wooster's QB not being able to go, so it sounds like he'll be in there. This will be the 2nd game of the bogus two-game suspension that Duke Price is serving. Here's hoping the Generals show up and play with a sense of urgency tomorrow night.

Duke is back? Did the suspension get reduced due to the OHSAA appeal? That's something if so.

I think maybe a JV game counts for he is eligible to play in that game. That would make 2.

According to the OHSAA, it's only one game in football

but if you add in the 3/4 of the Ashland game, the penalty was nearly 2 games anyway

Thanks for clarifying Mike. Makes sense....football is half the length of basketball in terms of games.

Wooster shows up again and plays with no heart and no sense of urgency what-so-ever. Mike McCreary gets outcoached...yet again. Clear Fork was by far the superior team tonight, but not by that score. A terrible showing on Homecoming, and I guarantee you that the Generals don't show any spirit in the Orrville game either. Here comes www.firemikemcreary.com

I believe the penalty is 1 game for players, 2 games for coaches, ..... and CCRolly it didn't appear that Wooster showed up, did they maybe go down to Clear Fork instead?

Not a good showing for Wooster. I was surprised by their lack of offense tonight.

Part of me is surprised by Wooster's performance. But this is pretty much par for the course. Get an opportunity to win a big game then s$%t in their hats.
The band parents are going to need to see better effort on the field or they will stop coming

Shocking outcome. BTW, a coach told me that it IS a 2 game suspension, but the game you are kicked out of counts as 1.

So technically you have to sit out one game?

Loved the fact that the Daily Record posted Clear Fork running back Jordan McCune's comments on several topics in the game story this morning. Here are a few of them....
"No disrespect to Wooster, but we knew their defense wasn't the toughest." Pretty much dead-on here, the only thing missing is that the defensive coordinator has no clue most of the time.
On Orrville....."They're always the toughest ones. Orrville looks to be down a little, but we say that every year and they never are. We haven't been able to beat them and it's almost like a curse, but I think we actually can this year."
On Ashland....."I think we're even with them, but the big difference is that game's at home for us this year."
Wooster just doesn't win big games under McCreary. In fact, let me add this....they don't even show up and look like they care most of the time. And I will stand by my comment that the Wooster teams that did make the playoffs years ago won in spite of the coaching staff.
